Thanks. I think Zizek has a lot to offer curriculum studies/theory and general scholarly thought. I used Rob's stolen scholarly helper "who can you not think without" and for me its Herny Giroux and Slavoj Zizek. I'm never one to shy away from talking about Zizek if you have questions.

Hi Pauline,
How are you? The usual craziness here. Just returned from a few weeks in the Philippines, where I've done some research. Have a great summer!
Cheers,
Jeff

thanks for the welcoming note - The picture? it's a reminder that, there is a whole world at the other side of the fence. Sometimes, too many times, I forget that and stay with the urgent instead of the important.

Hi Pauline!
How exciting about the use of the PPT.
I am getting ready to do a presentation at the Georgia Chapter of AERA on visual curerre. Do you have any samples from this semester?

Indeed, I have. I am now teaching English to high-school kids in Moldova (former Soviet country) with Peace Corps. It's definitely a new experience. Any tips?

Two years (ish), and I will return.

Thanks for the welcome. I am just getting back into the student swing of things so my head is swimming from the start of classes and the reading. Love the site, plan to use as it as much as I can.

Hi Pauline,

Thanks for the suggestion re one of my pieces -- would love to take you up on that. I'm in Montreal right now, back on the West Coast next week so perhaps we can chat then about how to do that. I'm still exploring things on this site and getting a feel for what people are doing. How's the end of term treating you -- getting any free time now?
